TMW for people living with dementia and those providing support.

Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing sessions for people living with dementia and their care partners.
Open to people living with dementia and their friends and family.
Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing (TMW) is a unique movement, meditation and self-care practice for life-long health and wellbeing.
With origins in Tai Chi and Chi Kung, TMW is an easy-to-learn sequence of movements, in one proven, simplified package. TMW benefits everyone, at all ages and stages. You can be seated or standing in a session.
TMW will gently flex, strengthen and ease your muscles, joints and connecting tissues.
The movements will help to realign your body, bringing greater balance, posture, coordination and stability. Focusing on the flowing movements releases your mind from stress and anxiety, allowing a calmer and more spacious state of mind to arise.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing and flat, thin-soled shoes.
Each session concludes with a cuppa and a chat.
