Exploring Caring Course
Many people are supporting a loved one every day without always feeling confident, supported, or able to prioritise their own wellbeing. Over time, this can become overwhelming—but support is available.
Exploring Caring is a free 3-day course (10am – 3pm) designed specifically to help unpaid carers feel more supported, more confident, and better able to live well alongside their caring role.
The course will be taking place on June 5th, 12th and 19th at Spa Road Llandrindod Wells LD1 5HA
The course will help participants to:
– Understand how caring affects them
– Learn simple, practical ways to manage stress and challenges
– Build confidence in looking after their own wellbeing
– Develop self-care, self-awareness, and self-compassion
– Meet other carers and feel less alone
It is suitable for carers at any stage of their journey and recognises the skills and strengths they already have, while helping them build on these. Most importantly, it provides a safe and welcoming space to talk, reflect, and connect with others who understand.
