About Rosie Slay – Project Manager

Rosie has a vast swathe of experience in project management, event management, venue management, fundraising, business development, people management and operations.

She is particularly interested in creative problem solving in the third sector to develop more robust organisations who can deliver on their purposes into the future.

Some highlights and competencies include

  • Project managing capital projects, including the refit of a multi-purpose creative space, and the completion of a museum.
  • Managing events, with audiences of up to 2000. Overseeing all aspects of event, including planning, promotion, logistics, comms, people and evaluation.
  • Project managing creative projects, including artist residencies, public exhibitions and public art projects.
  • Developing fundraising strategies and business plans for charities and social enterprises.
  • Writing and managing successful funding bids, including reporting and evaluation

I also founded and directed an arts organisation, Ugly Duck, overseeing all aspects of its operations, from finance, to HR and governance.

Based in Machynlleth, happy to travel to sites across Powys.
