Role Purpose
y Gaer offers a diverse range of front-of-house opportunities, from supporting visitors in our museum spaces to assisting library users with digital resources. As Volunteer Team Leader – Front of House, you will play a coordinating role, ensuring volunteer cover is in place during museum and library opening hours and supporting a positive, inclusive volunteer experience.
Tasks
As Volunteer Team Leader – Front of House, your role may include:
• Assisting with coordinating and maintaining the volunteer rota to ensure appropriate cover and support for staff
• Welcome new volunteers and assist with introductions and induction
• Be a point of contact for volunteer questions
• Support communications and help share updates
• Supporting volunteer development and progression into new roles where appropriate
• Assisting with volunteer training days and social events

Please note: An enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role.
Training and Support
Volunteers will receive full induction and training, including:
• Guidance on using the volunteer rota sign-up system

Time Commitment
We suggest a commitment of approximately 3–5 hours per week, which can be flexible depending on availability and operational needs.
