How do I wirelessly print?

We offer two secure self‑service printing options to make printing quick and convenient:

Option 1: Cloud Printing:

This option allows you to print wirelessly from your own device while you’re in the library.

  • Connect to our free Wi‑Fi: Powys Guest. Find out how to get online here: Get Online – Powys
  • Open the file you want to print and select ‘Share’.
  • Choose the ‘Print’ option.
  • Select the printer for the library you’re printing from.
  • Pay at the desk. A member of staff will then release your printing.

Option 2: Browser Printing:

This option allows you to upload your files securely from anywhere and collect them from the library.

  • Go to: https://powys.docprint.uk/upload
  • Log in using your library card number and PIN. If you don’t know your details, please ask a member of staff. Not a library member yet? You can sign up online here: spydus.co.uk/cgi-bin/spydus.exe/MSGTRN/OPAC/JOIN
  • Select ‘Choose file’ and upload the file(s) you want to print.
  • Select ‘Upload file’.
  • Visit the library, pay at the desk, and a member of staff will release your printing.
What can I print?

You can print all sorts of things – PDFs, documents, photographs and even web pages. Just make sure your print doesn’t exceed our 100MB file size limit.

What devices can I print from?

You can print from all Windows, Android, MacOS and iOS devices.

How much does printing cost?

Wireless printing costs the same as printing from one of our PCs – 40p per colour side and 20p per black and white side.
