Want to create and perform live music?
We need young musicians to help shape and perform the score for our Autumn Show The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time – live at Wyeside Arts Centre, November 2025. If you want to be involved – now’s your chance!
We’re bringing free workshops towns around Powys where you can have a go – even if you’ve never done it before!
You’ll learn how to create music using live instruments, vocals, loop pedals and tech. No grades needed (although of course grade 8s are welcome too!). Run by community composer Jim Elliot.
There will be 3 workshops, choose the one closest to your home and come along!
19th July: 2-4pm – Presteigne Assembly Rooms
20th July: 10am-12pm – Hanging Gardens, Llanidloes
20th July: 4-6pm – The Lost Arc, Rhayader
