CADW Open Doors at Powys Archives, Saturday 26th September, 10am to 1pm

Visit Powys Archives between 10am and 1pm on Saturday 26th of September for our free CADW Open Doors event.

Free to drop in: We will be offering a chance to see behind-the-scenes of our new digitisation and cataloguing project uncovering the works of local Powys photographer, Ernie Husson, and as well as some of the results of our recent accessibility 3D model printing project. There’s something for all the family to discover!

This Open Doors event is part of a celebration of Welsh archives via the Archives Wales Alive / Archifau Cymru Byw project taking place in September 2026. Archives are for everyone, so please join us if you are interested in history, heritage, culture and creativity!
