Step into the past and uncover thousands of years of human history on this guided archaeology walk through the beautiful landscape of The Rodd.

Led by expert archaeologist Tim Hoverd of Herefordshire Archaeology, this engaging 1.5-hour experience reveals how people have shaped and interacted with this land from the Neolithic period through to the 20th century.

As you explore the grounds, you’ll learn how to spot subtle clues in the landscape, earthworks, boundaries, and hidden features that tell stories of ancient settlement, evolving farming practices, and more recent historical developments. With a blend of expert insight and local knowledge, Tim brings the past vividly to life, making this an accessible and fascinating experience for all.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast or simply curious about the stories beneath your feet, this walk offers a unique opportunity to see the landscape in a whole new way.

Suitable for: Adults and older children with an interest in history and the outdoors
