I am an Arts Manager, Producer, Project Manager and Music Specialist. I have just finished a 25 year career at the Arts Council of Wales, where I was a music specialist and have contacts in all genres of music across Wales and UK. I worked on Create grants, Creative Steps, Arts, Health and Wellbeing and sat on panels outside of the Arts Council too. This entailed advising individuals and organisations on applying for these grants as well as being part of the assessing team.
I worked with Festivals across Wales and have a close association with BAFA (British Arts Festival Association) and AIF (Association of Independent Festivals).
I am a fluent Welsh speaker and have just complete the Arts Management Association Essentials of Marketing course.
I am a musician and studied Electro-Acoustic Composition at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I played keyboards in bands in Cardiff for 15 years and teach piano. I also sing in two choirs.
