Backstage Open Day at the Wyeside

Mid Powys Youth Theatre (MPYT) is looking for young people aged 14-24 to work on our upcoming production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time Wyeside Arts Centre, 5–8 November 2025. You will work with a team of theatre professionals and have the chance to have professional level experience working on a theatre production.
What to expect:
- Meet the professional creative and technical team
- Go on a backstage tour of Wyeside Arts Centre
- Get hands-on with equipment and tech you might use
There are opportunities to get involved with:
- projection mapping and AV
- costume
- set building
- prop making and/or sourcing
- stage management
- lighting design
- lighting and sound operation
- film and photography.
