To assist and support the Strategic Lead Museums in documenting and caring for the y Gaer collection, provision of displays and exhibitions, and outreach and engagement activities.

To be responsible for the management of the Cultural Services Community Engagement team. To seek out and maximise opportunities for joint working between the council and arts partners.

To be responsible for the management and operational service delivery of y Gaer, Ystradgynlais and Hay libraries and to develop and deliver a dynamic and progressive service to residents, community groups and visitors.

The Mid and West Wales Strategic Culture Partnership aims to develop a Cultural Vision for Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Powys, along with individual Culture Priority Plans for each authority for the next five years.

To act as an ambassador for Cultural Services with particular reference to Heritage and Culture. To work with colleagues across Cultural Services and partner organisations in the delivery and development of engagement activities and programmes.
