About Jane Mason
Jane Mason is a freelance Arts practitioner with an MA in Fine Art from Cardiff Metropolitan University. She has nearly a decades experience of facilitation in community Arts around Powys and has worked as part of the Creative schools programme. Jane’s skills are varied, from observational drawing and painting, simple printing techniques(Lino and screen) textiles, sewing weaving and up-cycling, as well as sculpting using traditional and found materials, to elaborate monumental sculptural installation projects. Jane has been an environmental activist since the 1980’s and her work is informed by ancient history and sustainability.
Jane has been working for Celf o Gwmpas as Artist Network Co-ordinator since 2017 and was central to the opening of their Stiwdio Gallery in 2021.
