Library to stay closed until the new year
Welshpool Library will not be reopening as planned on Monday 23 December and instead will be back on Monday 6 January.
It had been due to open in its new temporary home, in the canalside cottages next to Y Lanfa, after a week’s break, but the planned set up has not been completed in time.
If readers in the Welshpool area want to collect or return books before Christmas, they are advised to use Newtown or Llanfyllin Libraries, or Llanfair Caereinion Community Library instead: https://www.storipowys.org.uk/find-a-library?locale=en
